Two damns bursted in Brazil

The government of Brazil had classificated this scene as en environmental catastrophe. Two damns bursted at an iron ore mine. This had produced an orange sediment that is washing into the ocean all along the coastline. The contamination is not the only negative consequence of this accident, there also had been eleven deads. The brazilian president has fined the mining company with 44.000 pounds, but most of the brazilians think that's not enough and protested in their fishing

This company, called Samarco, has set up berriers in ordar to contain the mud flow ahd has also been digging canals during a week to guide the sediment out to sea. The mining company saaid that the mud is not toxic, but biologists and other enviromental experts had done their own inspections and disagree.

OPINION:
It is an accident, and accident can happen, but not in this cases, not when we are talking about toxics and contamination of water. This is a grat disaster for Brazil, but the people who life nearby is even more affected.  I think that punish the company is not the solution, the solution would be an enhanced supervision of all those kind of companies that can trigger a chain of disasters.
